The aims of the Centre d’Estudis LSC-UPF Actua are the following:

• Contribute to increasing awareness and knowledge of LSC around the world.
• Participate in training and professional development activities.
• Provide counsel regarding sign languages to agencies, institutions, and to other universities.
• Contribute to increasing resources for teaching and learning LSC.
• Create a network to connect the main social agents in the field of LSC.
• Promote cooperation and joint actions with other UPF units and services.
