What is an Erasmus+ project?

The Erasmus+ programme supports the creation of projects and initiatives beyond student and teacher mobility. The aim is to support the European values ​​of integration, digital transformation, sustainability and democracy through different strategic actions that include:

  • Partnerships for cooperation in projects in higher, school or adult education that aim to create tools and work methodologies or develop a curriculum in topics that contribute to the aforementioned values
  • Initiatives that promote excellence in the teaching of a subject at the European level
  • Projects to increase technological and educational capacities in developing countries through international consortia, with the participation of European and third-country institutions
  • Jean Monnet actions to support teaching and research on European topics, from modules on European topics, to chairs, networks and centers of excellence

Get involved in an Erasmus + project as an UPF researcher and activate your international network.

  • Funding. The Erasmus+ programme finances projects of different sizes, from Jean Monnet modules or chairs (50,000 EUR) or small-scale partnerships (60,000 EUR) to partnerships for cooperation (250,000 EUR) or alliances for innovation (1.5M EUR). Your idea could be included in the programme.
  • International academic network. Activate and expand your network through collaborative projects with the support and funding of Erasmus+, starting projects in your area of ​​work and giving them an international dimension
  • Recognition and visibility. Erasmus+ provides you with tools to disseminate the results of your project.

You can participate as a partner or as a project coordinator. The International Relations Service can help you with the writing and presentation of your proposal.

Contact us to discuss your proposal in advance. Depending on the size of the project and the degree of maturity of the proposal, we can prepare it from three months in advance, for small projects or projects where we have a partner role, to up to a year, for larger projects that may involve other services and units.
