The UPF Student Council (CEUPF) is the University's student representative coordinating body. It has its own budget, a particular purpose and specific duties.
The Council's purpose is to coordinate and circulate information on all student-related activities, promote student-led initiatives and associations, and contribute to improving the education system. It was established, in short, to strengthen coordination between UPF and its students, with a view to the latter's active participation in university life helping to improve the institution. The Council chooses student representatives to sit on UPF's various committees and has a direct relationship with the University's main management bodies.
The Council is organized on the basis of the different faculties' student bodies, in which all students can participate directly. It has a permanent body called the Coordinating Committee, and establishes other committees to work in various areas.
Council-run activities include the Àgora magazine, The Association Exhibition, the Market of Found Objects or the collaboration in the organization of the Festa Major, among others.
