Radioactive facilities

Do you need to use the radioactive facilities?

Radioactivity is the spontaneous emission of particles (alpha, beta and neutrons) or radiation (gamma, k-capture), or both at the same time, arising from the disintegration of certain nuclides that form them, caused by the particular arrangement of their internal structure.

UPF’s Department of Medicine and Life Sciences has specific facilities for undertaking such experiments, duly validated by the Catalan regional government. Contact them for more information.
