The GRLC is a space of documentation, reflection and debate on recent transformations in literary studies, in order to encourage scientific production, international exchange and development of research projects following the disciplinary model of the Comparative Literature, characterized by a supranational perspective, the tracing of interactions between different literary systems, and the attention to the relations between literature and the other arts, and with other forms of cultural production. The research on changes in the conception of literary studies in recent decades helps us make projections about the future of the discipline in the 21st century and adapt both research and teaching methodologies to the new challenges. The group organizes periodic seminars and scientific meetings, takes part in international networks and competitive projects, integratingcollective initiatives as well as the individual lines of research of each member.
