Isidora Stojanovic's ERC Advanced Grant "VALENCE ASYMMETRIES: The positive, the negative, the good and the bad in language, mind and morality" is kicking off its seminar series on September 23, with the presentation "Associative Slurs: Thick Terms, Valence and Ideology" by Elin McCready (ICREA/UAB) at 12h in room 52.701 on the Poblenou campus.
The call for papers is also now out for the first VALENCE ASYMMETRIES Conference, to be held on March 19-20, 2026.
