Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology at Miguel Hernández University. His scientific production has led to him being recognized as a reference in topics like penal protection of intellectual property rights; Criminal Law of road safety; objective imputation and deceit in general and particularly in Corporate Criminal Law; and cybercrime. Currently he is the Director of Crímina (Centre for the study and prevention of crime) and the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law at Miguel Hernández. His current research interests are: the inclusion of empirical evidence in the decision making process of criminal policy; the assessment of the impact of criminal rules; criminological Big Data and Smart Data; Artificial Intelligence in the Crime Justice System; justice insights and Crime Justice System legitimacy; psicosocial and psicolegal factors of normative behavior and violent radicalization through internet.
