The Library has opened an exhibition that presents a selection of works from the bibliographic collection donated by Professor Oriol Casanovas i La Rosa. Professor Casanovas, professor of Public International Law at UPF for eighteen years, donated in 2010 his extensive collection of books to the Library of the University. Now, for the first time, you can see some of the most outstanding works of this valuable donation.

The collection includes 6,000 volumes of Public International Law, 400 of European Law, 100 of International Relations and 300 on the History of Foreign Policy in Spain. In addition, it includes several magazines and historical legal works that are part of the Library's reserve collection. Each volume is identified with the donor’s bookplates, which makes them unique pieces of value for the university community.

The exhibition presents a selection of books published before 1900, which stand out both for their bibliographic importance and for their scientific value. This gives visibility to works that are usually unknown, as they are part of the reserve fund.

In addition to the physical exhibition, a virtual shelf has been created with the works on display, from where you can access the documents that are available online.

The exhibition can be visited until 31 May at the Ciutadella Library/CRAI, during the opening hours of the facilities
