Marc Carrillo is Professor Emeritus of Constitutional Law at the Pompeu Fabra University. He is a Law graduate (1976) and obtained a doctorate in Constitutional Law from the University of Barcelona (1985). At this same university he was a professor of Constitutional Law between 1978 and 1990. He also achieved a Diploma from the Paris Institute of Political Studies of the Fondation National des Sciences Politiques (1982). He is a visiting professor at the universities of Pau and Aix-en-Provence (France), La Sapienza of Rome, Pisa and Molise (Italy) and, occasionally, of universities in Latin America. He has been a member of the Central Electoral Board of Spain and the Council of Statutory Guarantees of Catalonia.
