3. Definition

A report is an article that reflects the results of investigations by the author on a topic of current affairs. The starting point of the report are the events that give or gave rise to a news story that still generates interest. The journalist attempts to gather data, discover the causes, present the background and analyse the consequences, contrast different points of view, confront different interpretations, find out the opinions of the main players or the witnesses of the events... All of this in order to go in as much depth as possible into the subject of the report to provide a vision of it in all its facets. It will be defined by its comprehensiveness and its objectivity.

4. Submission

The works submitted to the contest must be attached to the online registration form:

Written reports

  • the works will be a maximum of 5 pages in length on DIN A4, typed in double space, with Arial font, size 11 

  • Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf.

Videos and radio documents

  • The time limit  is 5 minutes

  • Maximum size: 1GB

  • Format: MP4, full HD

5. Prizes

A first and a runner-up prize will be given. The prizes will consist of a FNAC gift card, worth €400 for the first prize and €100 for the first runner-up. If the judges so deem, the prize may be considered null and void.
