3. Definition

Nowadays, the communication of scientific issues in society has acquired an important role thanks to the rapid advances that are taking place and which undoubtedly affect us all. In addition, communicating science aims to return the investments in scientific projects to the society in the form of knowledge. 

This scientific communication competition aims, therefore, to stimulate the general public's interest in scientific issues, in order to enhance the knowledge and the value of science in society. The piece may refer to a recent scientific discovery as well as to specific scientific knowledge, as long as it is informative. The originality of the proposals, the informative language used and their scientific content will be taken into account.

4. Submission

The works submitted to the contest must be attached to the online registration form and must meet the following requirements:

  • The works will be a maximum of 5 pages in length on DIN A4, typed in double space, with Arial font, size 11 

  • Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format

5. Prizes

A first and a runner-up prize will be given. The prizes will consist of a FNAC gift card, worth €400 for the first prize and €100 for the first runner-up. If the judges so deem, the prize may be considered null and void.
