[Cycle] Performing the Lecture: L'Escrita, a lecture by Perejaume (15.11.24)
As part of the experimental lecture series Performing the Lecture, on November 15, 2024, there will be a reading of L'Escrita, a lesson by Perejaume specifically crafted to be delivered at the Dipòsit de les Aigües of Pompeu Fabra University, accompanied by the singing of Neus Borrell and Arnau Obiols, and the rhapsody of Sílvia Bel and Sergi Castellà.
The Escrita is a river in the Pyrenees, a tributary of the Noguera Pallaresa, and its name serves as a gateway to a poetic reading that approaches the writing of water, the impossibility of fixing its discourses, and the chance to flood a space with written and recited words. This lesson, first presented in 2022 as part of the X Alois M. Haas Lectures, is organized in collaboration with Casa dels Clàssics (as part of the Festival Clàssics), and concludes the Performing the lecture cycle.
