Next Thursday, 15th of February 2024, at 16:00 (CET) the FRONTIERS team will present the project and the Science Journalists in Residence Programme, and answer questions from the audience. Béatrice Thiry, Communication Officer at the European Research Council (ERC), will also join the FRONTIERS Info Day to present ERC’s vision for a Science Journalism Initiative.

The Studies Center on Science, Communication and Society at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (CCS-UPF), a member of the FRONTIERS consortium, plays a key role in the development of training actions to strengthen the skills of journalists in the coverage of complex scientific issues. In addition to the residencies, initiatives will be implemented to create strong networks between journalists and research staff, fostering continuous collaboration and knowledge exchange

This event is a valuable opportunity to immerse yourself in the FRONTIERS project, the aim of which is to implement a Residency Programme for journalists at leading research institutions in Europe. Over the next four years, FRONTIERS aims to foster journalistic independence and coverage of research topics at the frontiers of knowledge.

The project funds the stay of journalists for a period of three to five months.
