PAEZ, EZE

Eze Paez is a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the Law & Philosophy Group of Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in law from the same university, where he also earned a PhD in moral philosophy. His research focuses on the development of a republican theory on the nonhuman animal citizenship, as well as our obligations to help wild animals suffering from natural harms. He has published in numerous high-impact journals such as Analysis, Inquiry, Pacific Philosophical Quarterly, Utilitas, Bioethics and Environmental Values. He combines his academic work with scientific outreach on antispeciesism and political activism for non-human animals.
