Jose Tarín holds an MA in Analytic Philosophy from Universitat of Barcelona (UB) and is a PhD student from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). Mostly interested in animals in nature and population ethics. In particular, from a practical ethical point of view, but also from an aesthetic one, in regards to the relationship between wild animal suffering and our appreciation of nature as beautiful. Lastly, he wants to problematize the compatibility between a religious conception of life (theist or not) with evolutionary suffering.
