Michelle Stankovic, who earned her PhD in Psychology at Curtin University (Perth, Australia) and joined the project as postdoc in September 2025, presented her past and ongoing research on language processing in bilinguals. More specifically, she presented four experimental studies, with German-English bilingual participants, that tested the interaction of valence and arousal, thus addressing some of the key aspects of the Valence Asymmetries project.
