Aleix Martí Danés undertakes a research stay at the University of Porto within the framework of the INPOLITYOUNG project
Aleix Martí Danés, specialist technician of the INPOLITYOUNG project, is currently carrying out a research stay at the University of Porto with the aim of strengthening the project’s international academic network and exploring new avenues for scientific collaboration.
During his stay, Martí Danés is holding meetings with researchers working in the fields of political communication, digital media studies and youth participation. These exchanges seek to identify shared research interests and potential synergies, while fostering dialogue around theoretical and methodological approaches to the transformation of the digital public sphere and the role of platforms in shaping young people’s political practices.
The stay is also part of INPOLITYOUNG’s broader commitment to building an international research network on youth, political communication and digital environments. In this sense, the collaboration with the University of Porto represents an opportunity to promote academic exchange, enhance the international visibility of the project and develop future joint activities, such as seminars, publications or comparative research initiatives.
This action reinforces the project’s commitment to open, interdisciplinary research connected to key international debates on the digitalisation of political communication and emerging forms of youth political participation.
