She graduated in Biochemistry at University of Zaragoza in 2010. Later, she did a Master in Molecular and Cellular Biology in the same university. In 2011 she obtained a FPI fellowship to do her PhD in the Neurobiology of Behaviour 
Research Group (GRNC) at the University Pompeu Fabra.

Her research was focused in the Neurobiological Substrate of the co-morbidity between dependence to Substances of Abuse such as psycho stimulants and alcohol and depression. She defended her PhD the 15th of March 2016.
