How is money today?, by Ole Bjerg
Prof. Dr. Ole Bjerg will soon lecture on “How is money today?” as part of Prof. Santiago Zabala's course on Contemporary Political Philosophy, in the MA in Political Philosophy.
Ole Bjerg (b. 1974) has a PhD in Sociology and until 2022 he worked as an Associate Professor in Philosophy and Economics at the Copenhagen Business School. He is the author of several books including Poker: The Parody of Capitalism (Univ. of Michigan Press 2011), Making Money (Verso, 2014), The Parallax of Growth (Polity, 2016), and The Meaning of Being a Man (Athos, 2020). His works are translated into Chinese, Russian and Spanish including Hacer Dinero - Filosofia del capitalisme postcrédito (2021) and El sentido de ser hombre (2021). He has two sons and now lives in rural Jutland in Denmark with his wife.
