Where does the name come from?

ERINIA is a (relaxed) abbreviation of Evaluating the Robustness of Non-credible text Identification by Adversarial Actions. You can check what we mean by that by heading to the Research section. It also refers to Erinyes, deities from Greek mythology that examine the behaviour of men and take vengeance on those who swear false oaths. ERINIA has a related objective, except instead of ancient heroes we target text classifiers designed for tackling misinformation, checking if they deliver the promised accuracy, or crumble under adversarial attacks.
