The CYD Ranking 2025, published by the Fundación Conocimiento y Desarrollo (CYD), places Engineering UPF as one of the top choices for studying Computer Engineering in Spain, ranking first in this discipline and second in Mathematics. This ranking measures the performance of public and private universities across the country.

The classification evaluates several dimensions, including research, knowledge transfer, internationalisation, teaching, and graduate employability. In all of them, UPF performs above the national average.

In the overall ranking, UPF ranks as the third-highest performing university in Spain, achieving a high score in 28 out of the 38 indicators analysed, and standing out particularly in the areas of Knowledge Transfer and Research.

This recognition reinforces UPF’s commitment to technological excellence in education and cutting-edge research.

The ranking analyses a total of 38 indicators, grouped into five key dimensions: Research, Knowledge Transfer, Teaching and Learning, International Orientation, and Regional Development Contribution. In the first two dimensions, UPF ranks among the top universities in the country.

With these results, Engineering UPF strengthens its leadership in the Spanish higher education landscape and reaffirms its commitment to cutting-edge technological training, closely linked to the professional world and the international context.
