Mina Khadem wins the 2026 PhD Workshop Award
Last Tuesday, 26 May, Engineering UPF held the 14th edition of its PhD Workshop, an event that highlights the outstanding research carried out by our doctoral students.

Mina Khadem received the 2026 PhD Workshop Award, which includes a €1,400 travel grant, for her poster:
“CsiMAE: A Foundation Model for Dynamic Wireless Signals”
Her work explores the development of foundation models for wireless communications, opening new possibilities for understanding and processing dynamic wireless signals and contributing to the next generation of intelligent communication systems.
Held at Sala Aranyó on the Poblenou Campus, the event brought together more than 70 attendees who actively participated in the evaluation and voting process.
