DIVERSE activities are organised in six work packages that span five years. WP0 will set up the theoretical foundations and analytical framework during the early stages of the project and then generate a theory synthesis in the final phase. A chain of analysis based on empirical data will progressively respond to the research questions (RQ1-RQ3) at the global level (WP1), at the case study or meso level (WP2), and at the individual or micro level (WP3), during 48 months.

  • RQ1. What is the current and expected state of digitalisation of grassroots transformative initiatives pursuing environmental justice and biocultural diversity?
  • RQ2(a). How do GTI address issues of diversity, and inclusion while navigating the trade-offs of the digitalisation process?
  • RQ2(b). Under which conditions does the digitalisation of GTI contribute to foster biocultural diversity and to enhance EJ?
  • RQ3. Which enabling models of digital leadership emerge from the GTI?
