Title: La utilización de R para el Análisis Económico de Políticas Públicas

Roberto Martínez Lacoba works as a Tenured Professor in the area of Financial Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies in Albacete (University of Castilla-La Mancha). He has been a PhD holder from this university since May 2020, holds a Master's degree in Socio-Healthcare Research (2016), and graduated in Business Administration and Management (2014). He is a member of the Health Economics Association. His research focuses on health economics and socio-healthcare finance.
The workshop will focus on basic R for public policy analysis, concentrating on techniques such as difference-in-differences, regression discontinuity and survival analisis. It will also teach how to create graphs, analyze data, and use programming tools in R, including the use of loops to automate repetitive processes and improve efficiency in analyses.
