I am an archaeobotanist with a focus on exploring past foodways, specifically agricultural strategies, plant processing activities, and food consumption patterns. Currently, my research involves materials from Bronze Age South Asia (Sindh, Pakistan), Mesolithic Al Khiday (Sudan), and Pastoral Neolithic Luxmanda (Tanzania). I employ a multi-proxy approach, analyzing macrobotanical and microbotanical remains such as seeds, starch, and phytoliths.
