Aida Torres Pérez is Associate Professor of Constitutional Law and ICREA Research Professor (Acadèmia) at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). She holds a LL.M (2002) and a JSD (2006) from the Yale Law School.  She is responsible for the educational model of the EUTOPIA Project. 

She has been a visiting scholar at the European University Institute (Florence), the University of Trento, the University of Maastricht, the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law (Heidelberg), the Court of Justice of the European Union (Luxembourg), and the Danish National Research Foundation’s Centre of Excellence for International Courts, iCourts (Copenhagen). 

She is an external legal expert of the Centre for Judicial Cooperation at the EUI (Florence); a member of the SELA academic group, sponsored by Yale Law School; and she has worked as an external legal advisor for the European Parliament.
