With the celebration of the 10th edition of the UPF Solidària Fair, it was possible to enjoy the presence of more than thirty entities. Thus, the participation rate of before the pandemic has been recovered. An activity was also resumed during the day in which the service-learning methodology was presented. The progress of the health situation has allowed us to make progress in these aspects and we were able to experience a fair as we remembered it. However, it should be noted that it was thought that it would be beneficial to maintain a virtual fair, with a duration of four days.

On Wednesday, October 19, more than thirty third sector organizations linked to the UPF, working on a wide range of issues such as poverty, human rights, solidarity, children, the elderly, etc., gathered at the Ciutadella campus. They presented their volunteer projects to all university staff.

With this combination of virtual and face-to-face, the fair organized by UPF Solidària has had an influx of 50 entities, which benefited from the opportunity to offer both students and the entire university community the various volunteer projects and establish direct contact. Thus, one of the University's main objectives has been achieved: to provide students with information and easily accessible ways to participate. Otherwise, we are proud that the entities have been able to establish links with visitors and with other projects to grow their network.

As we have mentioned, the virtual version of the Fair has served to showcase the projects of the different entities in this format and, thus, facilitate contact between the public and the entities. Throughout the week, the virtual fair received more than 1,200 visits.

As for the on-site fair, it was held on Wednesday, October 19, from 10.00 to 14.00 hours, and the entire university community could find more than thirty stands on the Ciutadella campus. Everyone, especially students, were very interested in discovering the different volunteer programs, both national and international, and how to contribute their grain of sand in these projects. The Fair was a success in terms of the contacts that could be formalized between students and organizations.

The day was closed with the round table in face-to-face format entitled "The impact of the service-learning methodology (ApS)", a methodology aimed at achieving meaningful learning, to put into practice the knowledge achieved, as well as to respond to a need of the environment. The talk showed how the ApS methodology works at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra through different perspectives: from teachers, through students to entities that, folded, told us about their projects. It was moderated by Teresa Monllau, professor of the Department of Economics and Business of the UPF, and Dr. Mauricio Pérez, professor of the Department of Law, who, as director of the Legal Clinic of the UPF, explained its function. He was followed by Ainhoa Gómez, as coordinator of the Legal Clinic, and Dr. Blanca Arias, professor of the Department of Translation and Language Sciences of the UPF, in which she transmitted the application of the ApS to a university classroom. Then, Eli Puente, head of the Volunteer Department of the Casal de los Niños (ABS), and, finally, Arlette Galván, a student of Global Studies, who has participated in UPF's MAps mobility program with a stay in Mexico, could be heard.

Finally, taking advantage of the celebration of this 10th edition, several videos and interviews were recorded, which will result in a commemorative projection of this year's Fair.
