Support student for students with special educational needs
 
Students who participate in this programme have offer their support in order to help students with special educational needs in their daily activities such as taking notes, accompanying them on around the campus, transcribing materials or documents or assisting in their settling into their classroom.
Selected students must complete general training on volunteering and disability. The training, which will last a maximum of two hours, can be carried out at any time during the course, and at a time that suits the availability of volunteers.
Throughout the academic year or during the period / term in which the support of the volunteer is necessary. Volunteer availability must be consistent with the schedule of the student with a disability.
A fortnightly follow-up will be established, electronically, in person or by telephone depending on the case. At the same time, there will be a monthly control document confirming both the care received and the service provided (signature of the applicant student and the support / volunteer).

Compensation for tasks as free-choice credits will follow the following criteria:
  • Support in two subjects: 1 free choice credit
This activity is part of the PACS Programme (Social Commitment Activities) and you can obtain ECTS credits if you enroll on the programme. Registration is free and will allow you to not only apply for credit recognition, but also participate in all the free activities that are scheduled there.
