Eryk Salvaggio
Film: "Sarah Palin Forever"

Eryk Salvaggio is a researcher and new media artist exploring generativity in sound, images, and text. Raised on internet art in the 1990s, his work often explores emerging technologies through the lens of ethical hacking: testing the boundaries of systems and their mythologies. He is fascinated by the gaps that emerge between reality and its representation, such as datasets and the world they claim to represent. His work exposes ideologies embedded into technology, fusing a visual culture & media theory lens.

He holds a Masters in Media and Communication from the London School of Economics and a Masters in Applied Cybernetics from the Australian National University. He earned two concurrent undergraduate degrees, in New Media and Journalism, from the University of Maine, where he was listed as visiting faculty as an undergraduate based on his early interactive, online net.art work. His website is cyberneticforests.com.
