Theorist, writer and exhibition curator. Specialist in contemporary art, aesthetics, media art and the relationship between art-science-technology. In the last 18 years she has been director of cultural institutions in Germany, Portugal and Spain. Curator of more than a hundred and a half exhibitions in museums and international institutions. In 2018-2019 she curated the first major exhibition on artificial intelligence in Spain: Beyond 2001: Odysseys of Intelligence, at the Fundación Telefónica in Madrid and at the Museum of Human Evolution in Burgos. 

She has numerous catalogues, more than 160 articles, as well as fifteen books published in different languages, such as Aesthetics Digital - Syntopia of Art, Science and Technology (2002) and Ecology of Image and Media (2017).
