The second edition of the Seminar on History, Journalism and Politics (HPiP) will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., in Room 55.309 of the Poblenou Campus of the Pompeu Fabra University. This seminar, co-organized by POLCOM-GRP and GRENS research groups and coordinated by doctors Jaume Guillamet and Josep Pich, provides an academic meeting space between researchers on the history of journalism and politics of various universities and research groups, open to all Catalan-speaking countries.

Each seminar addresses a main theme by expert speakers, and there is also a space where the researchers can share information about their ongoing research. Specifically, the II HPiP Seminar is entitled “New contributions to the history of Catalan journalism” and three communications on newspaper directors from various historical moments will be presented.

The sessions will be transmitted by streaming (registration is required). The video recording of the sessions will be published on the UPF YouTube channel for greater dissemination to the interested public.
