Last Friday, May 18th, the annual conference of the European Journalism Training Association (EJTA) was held in the Campus of Communication of the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), within the framework of this conference the coordinator of POLCOM, Dr. Carles Pont Sorribes and the promoters of the group Dr. Cristina Perales García and Guillem Suau Gomila gave a presentation entitled: "Catalonia in the International Press. Media Coverage Analysis From 2010 to 2017 ".

This presentation served for the researchers to present before an international audience, the results of the research projects: "Catalonia in the eyes of the world. Analysis of the presence and construction of the story of the Catalan sociopolitical context in the international press (2010-2015)" competitive project awarded and financed by the Institut d'Estudis de l'Autogovern. And also of the project: "Study of the representation of Catalonia in the international press (2016-2017)". Project awarded and financed by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Institutional Relations and Transparency of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

Both projects have been carried out within the framework of the POLCOM research group and the researchers Carles Pont and Cristina Perales have been the main researchers in both projects, in which they have had the participation of researcher Guillem Suau.
