Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree or diploma, preferably in audiovisual communication, advertising and public relations, or journalism. Holders of an undergraduate degree or diploma in any field of the humanities, social sciences, health sciences or technology will also be considered.

MANDATORY DOCUMENTS

• Official undergraduate degree/diploma or equivalent. A Signed declaration of obtaining your degree before the commencement of the master's programme. Qualifications can be in the following academic areas: Social Sciences and Law, Humanities or Communication. 
• Academic transcript of the accredited official training with the average grade at the university of origin.

• Curriculum Vitae in Spanish, English or Catalan.

• Identity Card or Passport.

OPTIONAL DOCUMENTS

• 3 letters of recommendation (preferably by university lectures with prestige in research).
• 1 letter of acceptance to carry out the research work signed by the researcher in charge of one of the research groups in the department.
• Proof of professional experience in any of the fields related to the master's programme, minimum three years.
• Proof of research experience, minimum one year.
• Proof of teaching experience.
• Proof of Spanish language (level B2)   
• Proof of Catalan language (level C1) 
• Proof of English language (level B2) 

In addition, the Departments' selection committee may decide to interview the candidate.

The programme aims to help students develop the skills they need to conduct scientific and, especially, doctoral research. The programme may also provide students with the necessary expertise to advise institutions and companies on matters related to communication research.
