Biography note

He has a PhD in Journalism. He is historian, journalist and lecturer in Journalism History and Journalism Ethics at the Department of Communication at the UPF. He is also a consultant for ethics and communication law at the Open University of Catalonia. In 2007 he carried out predoctoral research at the University of Sorbonne in Paris; in 2010 he carried out postdoctoral research at Columbia University (NYC). He has published about the Media Ethics and History of Journalism. In 2012, he won the Social Communication Prize Joan Givanel i Mas. He is the coordinator of the research group POLCOM-GRP, Political communication, journalism, and democracy.
