Aida holds a bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting (LSC and English) and a master’s degree in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, from the Pompeu Fabra University. She works as an English Translator and as a Catalan Sign Language Interpreter. She is currently collaborating with the OBNEO (Observatory of neology, from the IULA department of the Pompeu Fabra University) as a neologist, where she extracts formal neologisms from Spanish and Catalan newspapers. She is also enrolled in several projects of the LSC-Lab, working as a translator and a linguist. Her research and teaching interests include Terminology, Neology and Lexicon, both in spoken and sign languages.
