JOVIS researcher Macarena García González edited, along with Evelyn Arizpe and Andrea Casals, the book "Campo en formación. Textos clave para la crítica de literatura infantil a juvenil" a publication that has just been awarded the 2024 Colibrí Medal Prize, given by the International Board on Books for Young People, IBBY.

The book brings together some texts originally published in English that were translated into Spanish for this collection. "These are texts that allow us to follow two key discussions in the field of children's and young adult literature studies. On the one hand, the discussion about power imbalances between the figure of the adult and that of the child, and on the other hand, the discussion about the limits of the field and the inspiration from other disciplines as well as the theoretical and conceptual turns in literary studies after the turn of the century. The book has been distinguished in the category "Best Theory Book".
