As part of the III International Conference on Communication and Citizenship, the EducoGEN R&D project organizes its Final Conference, a space for reflection and debate on the role of audiovisual media and new technologies in promoting gender equality and transforming social imaginaries.

The Conference, to be held on May 22, 2025, will address the role of audiovisual media and new technologies in feminisms, analyzing their impact on the struggle for equality and their capacity to make social realities visible and transform them. It will also explore collective mobilization and action in public spaces, highlighting the use of digital tools as strategies for communication and political action. Additionally, it will examine anti-feminist discourses in digital environments, delving into their causes, impacts, and possible responses from a social and gender justice perspective. The event will feature the participation of experts in communication, feminisms, and new technologies, who will discuss the challenges and opportunities that the digital landscape offers for advancing towards a more just and equal society.
