Imatge inicial

We are presented with a unique opportunity to gather four connoisseurs and lovers of the Balkans to talk about Sarajevo and the multiple traces it has left in the Catalan society: Tamara Djermanovic, professor and head of the UPF’s Seminar on Slavic Studies Research Group, Oriol López Badell, coordinator of the European Obervatory on Memories (EUROM) by the University of Barcelona’s Solidarity Foundation, Ivan Zahínos, international relations coordinator for medicusmundi mediterranean and Sandra Balsells, photojournalist and author of “Balkan in memoriam”.

In an academic yet casual and close surrounding, the speakers will recover personal experiences in order to present the projects that are regaining importance in the present and that irradiate universal values. We will talk about Sarajevo, its past and present, culture, music, image, written word and much more…
