Is death an inevitable phenomenon? How has our definition of death changed throughout history? Is there one type of death or is it rather many deaths: cell death, a person's death, death of consciousness, of memories? Is there a death of the machines? Can science and technology bring us closer and prepare our minds for the experience of mortality? Could virtual reality allow us to experiment with death?

These and other questions will be presented in a debate between diverse but complementary views that bring seemingly distant disciplines closer together to give us answers.
