The Erasmus+ Program promotes the creation and development of joint Master's degree programs by international alliances through its Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees funding call. These are programs with itineraries to different universities and implicit mobility, and with a significant endowment of scholarships for students from all over the world, which have the Erasmus Mundus seal of quality.

UPF currently participates in up to 3 Erasmus Mundus programs in the field of Social Sciences and coordinates one in the field of artificial intelligence. In addition, through the IBEI, the UPF is also part of two Erasmus Mundus consortia.
