We would like to inform you that the 2nd call for "En residència a l'Àrea Tallers" is open and Anna Belchi, on behalf of the Project Selection Committee, explains:

This project, born within the framework of EDvolució and conceived as a competition open to the entire UPF community, has become a space for the gestation and development of creative creation or applied research projects, with a markedly innovative character. 

The competition is open to all those people and groups who have had or have a link with our University: alumni —graduate, postgraduate, master's or doctoral students— and active students of all types and disciplines. The competition evaluates the candidacies based on the quality and values ​​of the project; its transversality and interdisciplinarity; as well as the commitment of the candidates to interact with other initiatives in residence and with the whole UPF community.

The proposals selected to be received in residence have a whole course, extendable to a second year, to work, consolidate and carry out the projects. From our University we offer a diverse physical space and resources adapted to the nature and growth needs of each resident project. The owned spaces, located in the Tallers area of ​​the Poblenou campus, in the middle of 22 @, have been conceived as a crossroads of experiences.

But the “En residència, Tallers” experience goes far beyond the physical space: our University has the determination to create the necessary synergies and the human team to accompany, help and promote our students and resident alumni.
