We are pleased to announce that the Third HackLab Day was a complete success!

We would like to thank the participants who explained their projects and all of the people who came to enjoy the Third HackLab Day for a while.

We delivered prizes to the winners of the 2018-2019 and 2017-2018 HackLab Awards and also to the groups that received the runner-up prizes.

The HackLab Evaluation Commission decided to award the 2018-2019 HackLab first prize to the ColLabSTOCK project which was designed by Carla Castignani, Laura Jiménez, Beatriz Urda and Alda Savalic as it obtained the highest scores for relevance, originality, knowledge exchange, development of the idea and external impact. ColLabSTOCK is a web app that allows the digitalisation of laboratories by creating an effective network for the management and exchange of materials between the laboratories.

The Commission also awarded the runner-up prizes to the projects UPF in Time (a mobile app created by students for students so that they can access their class timetables in a fast, efficient and up-to-date way) which was designed by Diego Rodríguez and Pol Valls, and PerspectivaMente (a web platform which offers content, information and tools to adults and families with mental health support needs) which was designed by Marta Michans and Vanesa Ortega.

We had the pleasure of listening to the experiences and projects of the following groups:

• Blanc Trencat (Runner-up in the 2017-2018 HackLab Awards)
• Iván García (Cravy Project with the support of the Business Shuttle)
• GameSquare (Winners of the 2017-2018 HackLab Awards)

Paula Javierre and Pablo Mérida also received their prizes for having found the HackLab DNA.

Finally, there was also a networking space with snacks where the students could talk to one another and share ideas and projects.
