The Evaluation Committee meeting for the 2017-2018 Hacklab award was held in Barcelona on the 16th of July 2018 and it examined the 7 projects presented in accordance with the evaluation criteria established in the rules and regulations of the Hacklab award. As a result, the Evaluation Committee has decided to award the prize to the ‘GameSquare’ project, designed by Gerard Jané, Martín Simon and Jaume Jané who attained the highest score in relation to the criteria of the contest in terms of relevance and originality, knowledge exchange, development of the idea and its external impact. The two runners-up are the projects ‘Postdata No et casis’ designed by Maria Alburquerque, Júlia Bosque, Alba Gòmez, Sandra Hernández, Júlia Lucha and Maria Sabater and ‘DIY eVOLVERs’ designed by Dimitrie Ivancic and Jordi Pla.
