Google is organizing Hash Code 2018, a team based programming competition for college students.  Teams will have to resolve a series of algorithmic problems inspired in real challenges Google finds day to day.

Online classificatory round will take place on March 1^st. Teams with the highest scores will be invited to Google Dublin Headquarters to compete on the final round on April 28^th.

For the classificatory online round, they asking universities to organize Hubs, where teams can reunite and compete together.

Last year both UPF teams that participated where placed in the best 500 (more information here), and in 2016, the AI research team where invited to the finals (read the UPF article here).
