Ruth de Llobet was a FASS postdoctoral fellow at the National University of Singapore, and a postdoctoral fellow at the Royal Netherlands Institute of Southeast Asian and Caribbean Studies (KITLV). More recently, she held a postdoctoral fellowship at NYU-Shanghai. Her research is centered on the history of Southeast Asia and transpacific history, with a special interest on the Age of Revolutions, intellectual history, political history, and elites, from an Asian, global, and comparative approach.
