Dirk Lagerwaard teaches English at a secondary school in Barcelona and the Escola Oficial d’Idiomes in Cornellà. He also works at the Blanquerna University, where he teaches the subject “The Teacher as an Agent of Change”. Apart from that, he is the Social Media Coordinator of the IATEFL Young Learners and Teenagers Special Interest Group and started the vlog NovELTies. He carries out a PhD in the Department of Translation and Language Sciences of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra under Dr. Olga Esteve’s supervision. Apart from that, he is also involved in the GRAULA project, a group of teacher-researchers under the guidance also from Dr. Olga Esteve.
