Gr@el (Grup de Recerca en Aprenentatge i Ensenyament de Llengües) brings together research in the field of applied linguistics, language learning and didactics. The group works with diverse languages (Catalan, Spanish, English, German, French), as well as in multiple contexts (mother tongue, foreign language, environmental language, Spanish language, multilingualism, etc.), levels (beginners, advanced learners) or social groups (children, teenagers, adults, etc.). The group also focuses on both formal learning in school contexts and on informal learning in leisure or vernacular contexts. Its main research areas are:
