Emmy González has completed the University Degree in Spanish and Communication at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV, Chile), and has obtained the Master in Research in Didactics of Language and Literature at the University of Barcelona. She has experience as a technician hired in educational research and innovation projects led by the PUCV. She has presented, within these projects, communications on written abilities, on lexicon and linguistic corpus.

She has been awarded by a scholarship for the Advanced Human Capital Training Program of the National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research (Programa Formación de Capital Humano Avanzado de la Comisión Nacional de Investigación Científica y Tecnológica, CONICYT) of the Becas-Chile system to study the Doctorate Program in Translation and Language Sciences at Pompeu Fabra University. The research that is proposed to develop, supervised by Dr. Carmen López Ferrero, focuses on online collaborative writing processes that follow students with the support of digital tools. The final result is to establish criteria for evaluation, self-evaluation and co-evaluation of collaborative multimodal writing.
