Jorge Roa Roa

Constitutional Law and Comparative Constitutional Law Professor at El Externado de Colombia University. Phd in Law with international mention and summa cum laude distinction from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2017). Master in Advanced Legal Sciences from the Pompeu Fabra University (2012) and Master in Governance and Human Rights from the Autonomous University of Madrid (2011). He obtained a law degree from El Externado de Colombia University (2010). He has been a visiting researcher at the Max-Planck-Institut and teaching assistant at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2012 and 2017). He has served as a human rights consultant for different organizations and as a guest lecturer for various constitutional courts, universities and research centers in Europe and Latin America. He obtained the Cádiz Constitution Prize for research in constitutional law conferred by the Spanish Ministry of Education (2012) and the second prize of the Nicolás Pérez Serrano Prize for the best doctoral thesis in constitutional law conferred by the Center for Political and Constitutional Studies of Spain (2018).

Diane Fromage

Is Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellow at Sciences Po Paris (France, 2020-2022). She has previously been Assistant Professor in EU law at Maastricht and Utrecht University (The Netherlands, 2015-2020). Prior to this, she was Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow in Law at the European University Institute of Florence (Italy, 2014-2015), and she obtained her PhD degree from the University of Pavia and the University Pompeu Fabra in 2013 (joint diploma). Her research focuses on questions of European institutional law. More specifically, she analyses the participation of parliaments in the European Union, and also studies issues related to the Economic and Monetary Union.

Alejandro Gómez

Lawyer, Political Scientist and Specialist in Public Law from the EAFIT University of Medellín, Colombia. Master in Constitutional Law from the Center for Political and Constitutional Studies- CEPC of Madrid, and LL.M in International Legal Studies from American University- WCL in Washington, United States. He has served as a public official in the Corte Constitucional of Colombia and in the Antioquia Government. He served as a visiting professor at Pompeu Fabra University during the years 2017-2018. Since then he has been a Phd candidate from the same university and a professor and researcher at EAFIT University.

María Camila Medina 

Lawyer from El Externado of Colombia University (2018). Advanced Master in Legal Sciences from the Pompeu Fabra University (2018-2019), where she served, as well, as teaching assistant in the Constitutional Law Department. She has experience as a research assistant and teacher in the Constitutional and International law areas.
