The Department's seminars are discussion sessions devoted to various subjects, ranging from classical issues and authors to current affairs of prime interest to international law and international relations scholars. Seminars are organized on a regular basis and are conducted either by members of the Department or by visiting scholars from other Spanish and foreign universities and institutions.

The Department's workshops are study sessions intended to gain insight knowledge of specialized issues and scholars of international law and internacional relations. In these sessions the members of the Department also present activities developed by them outside Pompeu Fabra University. Workshops take place on a regular basis and are always conducted by and addressed to the members of the Department.
